The Book

In this little book the essentials of the spiritual life as it can be lived in today’s world are set out clearly and concisely in a simple account of the RULE and WORK of this Order.

Herein the author discusses the contemplative ‘Way’ as a vital link in the golden chain of a living spiritual tradition, not as a royal road to acquiring magical power and arcane knowlwdge, but the quiet way of abiding in the ‘Presence’ of the Holy and Divine Logos, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whilst this is not a comfortable notion in the modern world, it has nonetheless been the centre of gravity and a sustaining life-force to countless generations of contemplatives who have been prepared to ‘Give up and follow…’
